Tuesday, Feb. 16:
Fat Tuesday at Fat Tony's
Celebrate Mardi Gras at the annual Fat Tuesday bash at Fat
Tony's! We'll have beads, king cake, beads, authentic Pat
O's hurricanes, beads, the New Orleans sound of Mike Wolfe and
the Wolfe Gang, beads, party favors, and more beads! All
at the downtown location, with the Racine location celebrating
with king cake and hurricanes (and beads!).Live music starts at
8 P.M.
Friday, Feb. 19: 2010 Great Guinness Toast
Fat Tony's celebrates the Great Guinness Toast like no one else
in town. We'll have lots of giveaways at this annual
kick-off to the St. Patrick's Day Season -- which also brings
our famous Guinness brisket platter of corned beef slow-cooked
in Guinness, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and a roll. All
that for only $10.99 per plate! We'll
participate in the attempt to break the Guinness Book of World
Records mark for the most people toasting simultaneously.

The
party starts at 9:00 P.M. at both locations, with the toast at
11 PM. The Racine Drive location will feature music from
the Blarney Broughs. Racine will also have a "Liquor Luge"
(we're testing this idea for some upcoming events) and both
locations will have lots of giveaways and fun. If you
don't have any "Guinness Gear" for the St. Patrick's season,
you'll want to come to this event to score some swag. The
great folks at the Atlantic Shores Distributing Company have
donated some items that were provided to them directly from
Guinness -- and we plan to give it all away! If you want

Tuesday, Feb. 23: Taste of the Town A Theatre. A Map. A Taste Expedition. Try a sample of
Wilmington's best restaurants and visit several fun shops. But
before starting the restaurant journey, participants will spend
a few minutes with Thalian Hall's Executive Director, Tony
Rivenbark and get a sneak peak at the amazing renovations
underway at the Hall. This year, Fat Tony's is joined by 14
restaurants to give provide a taste of their good food:
Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 the day of the event. Patrons
must start at Thalian Hall to pick up their "pass" at 5:30pm on

and Beer Walk
Come to downtown Wilmington on February 27 for the annual Winter
Walk. You can sample beers and wines at about 16 different
establishments in downtown Wilmington for one low price.

Saturday, April 17: Rims on the River Brought to you by Fat Tony's Italian Pub!
Rims on the River is an annual event that takes
place this year on Saturday April 17th, 2010, (the rain date is
Sunday April 18th). The show is in Downtown Wilmington, North
Carolina. Cars and motorcycles dating 1980 and older line the
streets of the historic downtown area, with the Cape Fear River
and the diverse collection of retail stores as their backdrop.
This event has grown into a premier show, drawing a wide array
of cars from the entire southeast region of the state, as well
as a few neighboring states, totaling approximately 500 vehicles
on display last year! The event will be south on
Front St. all the way down to Orange St. We will also expand
North on Front St. to Cape Fear Community College.
As Fat Tony's is the premier sponsor, we will be
headquarters for the event, with a variety of live music and
happenings.
